Hack Evening @CASCON

Tonight was Hack Camp at CASCON 2006. There were more than 20 people there, despite the awful weather. Sacha and Stephen (nice homepage stephen!) gave a terrific introduction on what Hack Camp was going to be the rest of us chowed down on food. Then the fun began. Our first challenge was to format data so that Sacha could generate tag clouds. By tomorrow, each of us should have a web 2.0 compliant t-shirt 🙂 I was super excited when I used LAPIS to format my flickr tag data and impressed Sacha — though no doubt she has her own funkier way of doing it in emacs.

They were still going strong when I took off at 9. I wonder what they’ll come up with…
