It’s the little things

Had a great start to my day this morning. Finally managed to get my alarm set properly which meant I headed over to Crossfit for a 7AM class. It’s a good thing I’ve been doing the workouts on my own this week – all of those Double Unders (skipping, but getting the rope under twice instead of once) helped me get through the MORE double unders (60X3) today.

What made me even more smiley is that I realized when I got to the gym at the office (that’s where I shower since there isn’t one at Crossfit) my pony tail had stayed intact my entire workout.

Now, for some of you that might seem trivial. But I have a lot of hair, and am frequently having to stop during runs/skipping/workouts to redo it.

So it’s nice to feel that my Goody Stay Put elastics were a worthwhile purchase. They don’t stretch out and become useless, and best of all they keep my hair in place! I love you elastics!

One word of warning – I’ve had one of these bad boys snap before, so they’re not *perfect* but they’re the closest I’ve found!

    OMG. I was JUST complaining to someone about the whole hair elastic problem. The ones that aren’t tight enough stretch out and become useless in a week. The ones that are TOO tight give you a headache and pull all your hair out. I am going to get these this week!

    If only you lived in Toronto and I’d drop you some off! Definitely give these a shot – I haven’t tried the thinner ones, only the thicker ones and I’m in love. I don’t find the hair bands stay in place as well though.

    Those elastics are the best. That’s all I use for running!

    Great job getting up and making it to Crossfit. So THAT’s what a double under is. Duh. 60 x 3? Holy crap… keep it up!
