now what?
so between the writers strike and the fact that i don’t have cable, i’m about out of television to watch. so far i’ve:
- watched all three seasons of arrested development and weeds
- caught up on lost
- watched four seasons of 24 (well, last year). not so interested in watching the next two.
- tried season 1 of the sopranos — but don’t seem to have the attention span for it. i get confused with that many characters. i should try harder.
i’m working my way through dexter, but need another solo show to watch. so what’s next? please help me! otherwise i’ll be forced to do the things that i use television to procrastinate. like the dishes. and organizing my china photos (why did i take 250 of the terracotta warriors?!). grumble.

The Wire is pretty awesome, I’m about to start season 4. Ana seemed to like Big Love.

I have decided to go with Friday Night Lights to start.
Then maybe I’ll turn on my brain for the Wire.

If you need to know anything at all about FNL – anything … actor’s favourite flavour of cheesecake, home address, best times to stalk, etc… just ask my daughter.

This is my area of expertise. First, the Brit series Skins – start with the 10 eps of the first season. Then you can move onto season two which is just starting. Also worth a try: Secret Diary of a Call Girl (I have the season so I can burn that for you). There’s also The Tudors, The Riches, Saving Grace and Damages which are worth a try. Or the very very fabulous Canadian series Slings and Arrows.
If you feel like thinking entertainment, I can lend you the first season of The Wire.
Call me. TV is my speciality
