teaching

this morning i taught my first 2 classes. i was working on comprehension, so was told to make up a simple story for the kids about canada and ask them questions.

i told them about how in Canada it is very cold and there is so much snow we cannot drive cars. but not to worry – we have something better than cars! dog sleds! my sled has 5 dogs and i use it to get to work every day. but i am heavy so it is difficult for the dogs and they go slowly. this is a problem because i am late for work everyday. my boss yells at me, and then i cry. i think when i get home to canada i will by 5 more dogs so they can pull me quickly.

i have my next class in an hour. here’s to propegating lies!

    hooray for first non-drinking event!

sending this comment was really tough. you would have to see the setup in my igloo in order to plug my computer in without melting the front door….

Actually Jeff, I was thinking that she must have been drunk when she wrote that story!

But you left out the party where your dad is a mountie!

And the part where your mom’s a lumberjack. Or is it the other way around?

how bout the fact that you blatantly mispelled the word “buy” and you’re apparently responsible for teaching ENGLISH…why hasn’t anyone else picked up on the fact that Jennifer shouldn’t be teaching english if she can’t spell a three letter word. B-U-Y…Jenn, it’s been in our vocab since we were babies, time to learn to spell it.
