BarCamp
this afternoon was spent at BarCamp. what a great day! huray for nerdy goodness.
i participated in two session, hung out at the XP project room and ate some good food and drank some good beer.
did i present? well, no. I did participate, though. yes, the “first rule of barCamp” is that everyone must present, but I’d say that “NO SPECTATORS, ONLY PARTICIPANTS!” was more in tune with my experience. in any case, having those rules in place helped encourage a crowd that’s ready to participate and collaborate and not just stand around. i liked it. and i wore my “I *heart* nerds” shirt. Yay.
definitely looking forward to May’s DemoCamp. though it does conflict with Yogalates (yes, such a thing *does* exist)… hmm…
