My next coop term is ‘On own – University Imposed’!
I’m extremely blue about it too!

I am Developer Spice!!
By the end of the day I will know by which company my evil power will be employed for the summer…
Update: Jenn is officially *not* returning to Microsoft for the summer term.
Rankings come out tomorrow. I should know where i’m going by Friday at 4…
Haha. This is too funny.
It makes me think growing veggies in my back yard might be a worthwhile investment…
My doctor has a new TV show on CTV. I think that’s pretty cool. Anyways, today I watched it and there was even a contest that I had to email in for during the show. I’m hoping to win some sort of funky deoderant I think. Hehe.
But why I’m very jealous is that she gets her wardrobe done by a wicked store in Toronto and she gets to keep all of the clothes. I think that’s my new goal in life – to have a TV show with a good store doing wardrobe for me…
Oh, and my quasi-aunt is in one of the healthcare commercials. Look for the one about cardiac care – she’s the Nurse named Mindy. And yes, she is really a nurse (and her name is actually Mindy). So when you see her on the street you can stop her and say hi.
More interview mishaps: Last night I was up super late working on my OS Assignment. Luckily, today’s interview was at 2 (15 minute video conference) and since I don’t usually wake up after 9, I figured I would be okay to not set my alarm. I mean, how late can I sleep?
Well, I woke up at 1:30. Yeah. So I brushed my teeth, threw on clothes and ran out of the house. I jogged across campus to coop, and got into the building at about 2. Went up to the call centre to check in… It was then they told me that my company wasn’t interviewing today and not to worry because at least three other people had shown up thinking today was the 11th. Hrmph.
And this is my last interview! Eeek!
I’m quite excited/scared for ranking day… dum dee dum
Tonight I had a phone interview at 5. I was waiting for the phone to ring, so at 5:15 opened my resumee on my computer. As I was reading through it, I noticed that there was a typo: my phone number on it is wrong. Yeah.
Anyways, they called Toronto and got my real number and it was okay. But what a way to make a first impression!
My parents are watching the Tragically Hip play right now. My mom is hating it. My dad says ‘they’re not bad.’ Sometimes life’s not fair.
At least they called so that I could hear for a little bit..
People off stream from you in coop are like the Polkaroo. Just as you arrive, they disappear. As far as you know, they probably don’t really exist…
Seriously though, tonight I ran into a friend of mine, Jordan, who I met in Toronto when we were between terms. The last time I saw him was when he picked me up at the airport in California when I started at Quack. That actually also happened to be the night of the finale for the very first survivor (I remember the crowd of people watching tribal council in the airport – we watched them count the votes). And tonight I saw him at the MS info session. And we’re living on the same street. Weird.
And then there’s Ming. He’s friends with all my friends, so I hear about him all the time. But I’ve never actually met the guy. Polkaroo I tell you. Though he’s one of my fave people right now for sending me some Amazon info! I am definitely looking forward to meeting him next winter…
I am amazed by the amount of ‘bad’ TV that we have here. It’s incredible! I mean, I think I like these shows mostly because I find yelling at the TV somewhat therapeutic. It’s almost like they’re interactive! My current fave progs include:
Joe Millionaire
Meet my Folks
American Idol
The Bachelorette
The Osbournes (it inspired me to call my mom just to say F*ck you!)
Okay, enough TV. Time for school.
