In other news, I went to church (even song) and was invited to read a ‘Lesson’ whenever I’d like 🙂

I love Paris.
Some highlights:
– climbing the Eiffel tower
– having my clothes stolen out of the changeroom of Printemps
– smoking shisha and getting payed for it
– the 10F/1.52Euro store

Oh, and it’s the “dawning of a new age” says nat. We have a new person moving into the common room (well, it is the 5th bedroom, but til now it’s been our common room), students are here now, AND gym memberships have started. My world is being rocked.

i am in love with this country.
why, you ask? well, last night at 11:05 channel 4 (which is *not* a cable channel) broadcast PORKY’S(!!!) in all of its Canadian glory.
for a moment i thought they had cut the shower scene (which was when i let my housemates go to bed), but i was not let down.
tonight white teeth is on, and then tommorow our ‘new favorite show’ called Faking It starts. They’re making an ex-milatary man into a drag queen.
this place is wonderful.
i just hope i dont see that distrubing commercial…

happy payday! i finally have money in my bank account. it’s 5 weeks worth of pay and it’s in ££££s baby. now I can buy a phone card to call all of you
this weekend was spent in Oxford.
friday night would have been normal if it ended at 2.
instead, it ended at 6.
saturday got my visa card and so i really enjoyed myself. except for the fact that i lost my shirt at some point during the day.
