i gave up belly dancing a few months back for numerous reasons. there’s a shakira special on tv, and it’s making me regret it.

they have a toy drive going on at work. someone donated a newly wrapped, cute hello kitty stuffed animal. i want it. is it wrong if i take it and replace it with another gift? another two gifts? sigh. that’s what i thought. but i figured it was worth checking.

i’m fortunate to know some really amazing and selfless people, and am proud to say i’m related to a few of them… after visiting ethiopia, my cousin, justin, started a project to build a school in a remote villages he visited called Gendaweha Gabriel.
